We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to help us create the best healthcare worker experience on our platform. You will work cross-functionally to solve problems and shape the understanding of our marketplace and customer experience through insights, experimentation, data products and much more.


This role is 100% remote and can be located in the following states:

Typical Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Stakeholders and Data Scientists to understand data needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Build reliable, well-structured data models (dbt transformations), support reporting and BI tool configuration for self-serve.
  • Enable self-service analytics by curating well-documented, accessible data assets.
  • Implement data testing frameworks (e.g., dbt tests) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain data observability practices to proactively detect and resolve data issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures, anomalies, and performance issues.
  • Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data processing in Snowflake.

Success in your first 6 months will look like:

  • Become Proficient in Key Systems and Tools: Achieve a strong command of the company’s core data platforms, ETL processes, and BI tools. This includes a deep understanding of our data warehouse structure, transformation logic, and the analytics tooling used for reporting and dashboarding.
  • Deliver High-Impact Analytical Deliverables: Develop and deploy initial reports, dashboards, or data models that support key business decisions. This demonstrates the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
  • Forge Collaborative Relationships Across Teams: Build strong working relationships with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. Successfully integrate into existing workflows and proactively collaborate to understand and address their data needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years Industry experience as an Analytics Engineer
  • Data warehousing and transformation: dBT, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery
  • BI Tools: Lightdash, Looker, Metabase, Tableau
  • Bonus: Cube, working with ML Engineers

You might be the one we’re looking for if:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, preferably in a high-growth environment with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and quantifiable impact on key business metrics.
  • Experience with analytics engineering stack (dbt, dbt Semantic Layer / Cube, Git) and a solid understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, BI tools like Metabase, Lightdash (bonus points if you’re a Hex wizard or more generally any jupyter-style notebook)
  • Bonus points for experience in product analytics and / or marketing analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience with varied technical skills
  • Experience in prioritizing and balancing quick iterations with rigor, while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
