Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role will report to our Director of Business Operations, and can be based anywhere in the US or Canada. Ethena works east coast hours but is reasonable about morning meetings for our west coast colleagues.
Our new Business Analyst will be responsible for finding actionable insights from the data we collect and be a key enabler of our sales and product functions.
What you’ll be doing:
• Create actionable insights from our raw data, working with every department at Ethena, from sales, to customer success, to product
• Be the resident expert and owner of Looker, our business intelligence tool of choice
• Empower the sales team with rock solid metrics and ensure data is flowing cleanly between our systems for maximum operational efficiency
• Build empathy for our users and discover trends in how they interact with Ethena to help the product team make informed decisions as we improve our offerings
• Support our customer success team to win renewals with ease by creating impactful quarterly business reports
What makes a great candidate:
• A complete command of all things SQL and Excel
• A knack for data, a love of graphs, and a deep fear of numbers that don’t add up
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize on the fly and operate autonomously
• Experience with Looker and other analytics software such as Mixpanel
• Experience as a business analyst or similar role at a fast growing startup
• An entrepreneurial mindset - we’re an early stage startup so we’re not just looking for someone to run a playbook. We want you to help build it.
• A “roll up your sleeves” mentality and comfort with ambiguity
• Passion for what we’re building here at Ethena
• An impeccable sense of humor
