ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Business Intelligence Analysts to join our data team. We are a fast growing team and you will have the chance to work on a wide range of products.

The ideal candidate is passionate about managing our BI tool dashboards (Looker) and data governance, requirement determination, dashboard building.

Projects you will build and work on:

  • Migrating from old BI platform (Mode) to Looker via building LookML models, instituting a dashboard maintenance and curation framework, onboarding business teams, and setting up custom visualizations. 
  • Designing access management framework to align with privacy and security requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing LookML, BI tool dashboard and data governance, requirement determination, dashboard building
  • Build sophisticated and complex analytics assets to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and advise leadership on potential opportunities for investment and growth
  • Enable fast decision making at every level of the business through aggregating, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Collaborate with business owners at every level of the organization to build standardized reporting, facilitate access to on-demand reporting
  • Develop systems to visualize Data and Trends regularly and quickly, enabling quick action across the organization to course-correct or capitalize on opportunity
  • Use brand KPIs to define qualitative and syndicated research
  • Managing tool access and user count based on business stakeholder requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years in an analytics or data role, preferably at a high-growth start-up
  • Advanced experience with SQL and BI tools (Looker)
  • Experience with displaying and visualizing data for non-technical users
  • Working knowledge of programming language (Python, R, Java, or other)
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing tools such as BigQuery or Redshift
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with members across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems in logical and innovative ways
