By making it easier to discover new restaurants and rewarding members when they dine, we encourage them to explore their communities while supporting the local businesses that help those communities thrive. The role

We are fast-paced, innovative & metric-driven, with a team who are passionate about delighting our members. We are looking for a BI Analyst with proven experience in producing reporting, dashboards, visualizing insights and expertise in data analytics to join our Analytics Team. The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing data modeling and processing along with the creativity to invent and customize when necessary using programming and technology platforms. This role combines a deep understanding of the business strategy and performance with analytical and technical capabilities to deliver insights and power data-driven decision making across the business.

In your role, you will be a key player in a multi-functional team that delivers insights, having direct and measurable impact on Seated's platforms & consumer applications. To be successful in this role you will be a curious self-starter with a passion for digging into data and leveraging SQL, Python, etc. to execute data analyses that drive the business forward.  This role has high-impact and high-visibility, so if you are energized about using data to solve hard problems, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do

• Work with product, engineering & business teams to deliver complex data analysis requests
• Visualize datasets across multiple databases & warehouses using tools such as Tableau, D3, Looker, etc.
• Use Tableau to build dashboards that drive business decisions across different lines of business and teams 
• Build ETL pipelines for regular reporting on business and operational KPIs
• Partner with business leaders to strengthen - both in terms of approach and execution - decision making as it relates to their most high-priority focus areas
• Partner closely with teams to brainstorm ways to optimize key metrics
• Coordinate within cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, marketing, customer experience for various data analysis needs
• Proactively build data and event-driven dashboard for real-time business operations and consumer insights

What you’ll bring

• Bachelors in CS, Statistics, Economics or Engineering
• 1+ years of hands-on SQL experience
• Flexibility and adaptiveness in order to excel in fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Teamwork skills to partner with leaders and teams throughout the business
• Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex data sets into simple and digestible takeaways
• 2+ years of experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI
