A Data Director is responsible for ensuring that data key projects and data duties are fulfilled, answer technical questions, propose budgets for projects, training new employees, and working with various other departments

Also, one of the most important skills that a data director will have is his/her ability to effectively delegate the work and address all the issues that may come up.

Your Impact:

    • Able to plan & execute large, complex projects with interdependencies across teams and systems;
    • Takes ownership of capacity and growth of technical systems across multiple domains, defining key metrics, creating a compelling technical vision with company-level impact, and anticipating future needs.
    • Able to estimate the impact of and help lead efforts that significantly change product roadmap and footprint
    • Plans and leads implementation efforts for a major redesign, refactoring, and optimization efforts and be comfortable communicating complex issues to diverse audiences inside & outside the company.
    • Proactively identifies and remedies communication gaps and issues.
    • May work with the executive team on high-level technical guidance. Also Influences company goals and strategy, identifying new business growth opportunities.
    • Defines and models Rock Content engineering brand, patterns, and practices, focusing on the highest impact, most critical, future-facing decisions and guidance, advancing us through success.

What we're looking for:

    • 7+ years of experience with data analytics, intelligence and related areas;
    • Solid experience of data engineering and data analysis best practices across the development lifecycle;
    • Great experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other data engineers and analysts for best practices on software engineering;
    • Good communication skills and are willing to embrace our company culture and values;
    • Advanced or fluent English skills
