Teladoc Health, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist II (Multiple Openings) at its facility located at 150 W Evelyn Avenue, Suite 150, Mountain View, CA 94041. Build automation tools, data pipelines that helps to deliver quality reports on time for a multitude of requests. Influence upstream system/design, definitions and develop scalable solutions to meet expectations from internal/external stakeholders. Run ad-hoc data-extracts for requests from diverse partners and automate those needs over time. Develop visualizations to tell stories effectively. Build insightful dashboards, self-service tools and reports to slice/dice data for helping with partners in making strategic decisions for all functional areas such as member experience, product build/performance, clinical researches, business operations, growth/retention. Engage with partners, internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of programs in a fast-paced environment. Engage with Product, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams to understand the needs, capture requirements and be the liaison between analytics and business. Improve data quality and analytic rigor. Monitor, and triage production runs for ensuring data security and veracity. Proactively identify performance / data quality problems and remedy them. Continuously refine data quality with testing, tooling, and performance evaluation. Remote work may be permitted.
REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of experience programming, database management, stakeholder management and automation. In the alternative the business will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of experience programming, database management, stakeholder management and automation. Per 20 CFR 656.17(h)(4), any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) SQL and Python or R with Data Science libraries; (2) Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production grade data processing and deep learning code, pipelines, and systems; (3) Jupyter notebooks to perform analytics over the data and set up automated jobs; (4) Developing dashboards and reports to share compelling storytelling through visualizations using popular BI tools; (5) Build reliable end-to-end processes and solutions with high quality data and deliver within defined timelines; (6) Data governance with a focus on securing member’s sensitive data; and (7) Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
