About the Role

This role will be responsible for implementing Data visualizations across the organization following the needs of different teams and users. This role will focus on designing and making dashboards to support decision making and monitoring. This role will also train and advise the team towards using data tools and collecting basic metrics but also make sure our BI systems remain in a structured, well organized and documented state.

Responsibilities: 

• Collect and maintain business requirements for reports and visualizations
• Implement and maintain reports, data visualizations, and other BI solutions
• Present and share insights and analysis across organization
• Collaborate with data team to implement new data sources or to improve existing ones
• Collaboratively troubleshoot, fix bugs and be responsive to myAgro’s ticketing platform.
• Solve problems quickly and communicate with related teams as needed
• Documentation of BI tools and data warehouse
• Educate the team on BI tools and processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience making visualizations and working with any BI reporting tools (we use Tableau, but previous work with anything similar is great)
• Experience working with Python
• Experience working with SQL databases and queries
• Proven record of being a self-starter and delivering on projects.
• A passion for the mission, vision and values of myAgro

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with using common development tools (ticketing, version control)
• Experience driving data initiatives and/or data quality programs
• Experience in data and query optimization and performance monitoring tools and techniques
• French proficiency a plus but not required (the tech team primarily works in English)
• Ability to bring motivation, positivity and fun in the working environment
