We're seeking a passionate Product Analyst to help support our HouseCanary Solutions team, which focuses on large institutions and enterprise customers.  By helping us surface actionable, data-driven insights, our Product Analyst will help us drive decision making and will be a core member of our Product team.  If you love to wrangle data from multiple sources, unearth hidden insights through intuitive visualizations, drive revenue, and communicate your findings across the entire company, then we would love to talk to you.

What you'll do

    • Partner and learn from our existing Data Analysis team to help drive business outcomes and support our clients
    • Be the owner of product analytics and provide insightful business reporting to the company
    • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis to unearth data-driven insights and drive decision making
    • Synthesize complex analyses into concise summaries with actionable recommendations
    • Partner closely with our Product, Sales, and Finance teams to influence planning and prioritization
    • Document, maintain, and extend analytics for our core products and platform
    • sSupport the team and help manage the end-to-end product analytics process. 
    • Create data visualizations and Tableau dashboards to help the team remain focused on our most important KPIs

What you have

    • 1 to 3 years in a data analytics or a data science role
    • Working knowledge of Python (including pandas and numpy) or R
    • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and/or Amazon Redshift
    • Experience presenting data through visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)General comprehension of data pipelines and warehouses
    • A willingness to roll up your sleeves to help achieve team goals
    •  Genuine curiosity and an overall passion for data analysis
    • Strong oral and written communication skills

Special consideration given for

    • Existing familiarity with Redshift and Tableau
    • Experience leveraging external analytics platforms such as Heap, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics
    • Experience or interest in real estate
    • A fantastic sense of humor!
