What is Trusted Health?

Trusted, Inc. is the leading digital labor marketplace and workforce management solution for the healthcare industry. We are headquartered in San Francisco but we’ve taken a digital-first approach to building our workforce and the majority of our team resides across the US and abroad.

Trusted was founded in 2017 with a focus on the largest profession in healthcare: nursing. Since then, we’ve taken a process dominated by recruiters and phone calls and converted it to a fully digital experience, connecting nurses directly to job opportunities and handling benefits, payroll, onboarding, and compliance. Our platform provides full employer of record services for employers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

In 2020, we launched our proprietary staffing platform, Works. Works helps hospitals solve one of their biggest challenges: filling every shift in an environment where demand for healthcare services and labor costs are increasing exponentially. With Works, facilities can create their own on-demand nursing workforce and manage all the details from a single system. Using predictive insights and recommendations, Works helps hospitals react to fluctuations in demand, while its staffing marketplace creates competition to fill open job requisitions with high-quality, active talent.

Trusted has support from top institutional investors such as Craft Ventures, Felicis Ventures, StepStone Group, and Founder Collective, as well as healthcare innovators like Texas Medical Center, Mercy Health, Intermountain Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, and Healthbox. Most recently we closed a $149 million Series C round to fund our next stage of growth.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced BI professional and Looker guru to level up our small but growing analytics team on multiple fronts. You should have solid experience with Looker/LookML and be prepared to be our in-house expert, but you should also be a multi-talented analytics professional who wants to contribute in other areas to help us make the most out of a state-of-the-art tech stack composed of Snowflake, Fivetran, Segment, DBT, and Looker.  We are a small team and we all play multiple roles, believing that the role should be designed around you and not vice versa.

You’ll be self-motivated to excel in a startup environment dealing with ambiguity and will enjoy the task of bringing order to chaos. You’ll also be the kind of person who prefers playing multiple roles and having multiple responsibilities, looking around and finding what needs to be done to advance our analytics mission.

Your responsibilities

    • Build and maintain our Looker self-service reporting environment, from data mapping to report organization
    • Lend your data expertise to our data analysts and business partners, gaining their trust and helping them to get and understand the data that they need
    • Become an expert on Trusted’s business and on our data processing in general
    • Pitch in to respond to data requests, mapping new data, building reports, troubleshooting problems, documenting data flows, and coordinating with data engineering to acquire new data.  Whew!

Who you are

    • You have extensive experience in a Business Intelligence product data environment working specifically with Looker, using a modern relational data warehouse built on Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.
    • You are a hands-on type who’s not afraid to get right into the database and create your own data structures and write your own advanced SQL when you need to
    • You have a service mindset and enjoy working directly with business partners and influencing business decisions
    • You’ve got a keen eye for detail, are able to problem solve discrepancies, and you have a good sense of humor for those times when it all goes sideways
    • You have a genuine interest in the business, people and processes behind the data

Bonus Points For

    • Experience working simultaneously with numerous data and analytics tools, especially event-based tools like Amplitude, MixPanel, Google Analytics, Braze, etc.
    • Experience with data extraction and management tools like Segment, Fivetran, DBT, etc.
    • Knowledge of relational data modeling for analytics
    • Having developed (or actively contributed to and improved upon) a robust data dictionary
    • A/B testing experience (Optimizely, Google Optimize, etc)
    • Python

You have

    • 4+ years of analytics oriented experience
    • 3+ years of SQL experience
    • 2+ years Looker experience

We offer

    • Stock options and competitive compensation package
    • Paid vacation & sick time, paid family leave, and flexible work hours
    • Employer-paid health insurance, vision, and dental
    • Mindfulness and fitness reimbursement
    • Monthly cellular phone reimbursement
    • Employer-sponsored 401k
