About the Role

This is a high impact role that will give you the opportunity to translate raw data into actionable insights through analytics, experimentation and hypothesis. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work with product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer support to analyze how our customers interact with our product and how that usage drives customer success and LTV. This will include analyzing business trends, and overall product usage. You will work in tandem with product, engineering, executive leadership, UX, marketing and other stakeholders to develop insights that will guide product, marketing and design decisions.

What You Will Do

    • You will drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative research into key user behaviors and business trends, in partnership with product managers, engineers, designers, and other team members. 
    • Lead initiatives that aim to better understand the complex actions of our growing customer base. 
    • Define and monitor key metrics; investigate changes in metrics and propose next steps.
    • Develop a deep understanding of user personas, and app usage and routine patterns.
    • Manage analytics lifecycle for new products and features - from concept to end delivery.
    • Visualize key metrics to product, marketing, and executive teams.
    • Collaborate across Product, Business Development, Engineering and Marketing to identify key product opportunities.
    • Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models, and A/B tests to support ongoing monetization decisions.
    • Conduct price performance analysis, and develop insights designed to define strategies that achieve consistent, profitable growth.

Requirements

    • Advanced proficiency with SQL. 
    • Advanced proficiency with Data Visualization.
    •  5+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Science.
    • Experience in a consumer facing, D2C company. 
    • Startup experience is strongly preferred. 
    • Possess a strong knowledge of statistical concepts: data analysis, experimental assessment, trend analysis and identification. 
    • You are relentlessly curious, constantly asking questions, and adept at identifying trends, and drawing correlations. 
    • Possess a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods like usability testing, market size, concept testing. 
    • Experience with Amplitude, Heap or other similar analytics platforms. 
    • Experience with Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Mode, Power BI, etc.)
