Lightyear Health is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build the data environment for our robust clinical care platform. You’ll own the data infrastructure that will facilitate real time, individualized care analysis for our geriatric patients.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Own and expand Lightyear Health’s ETL and data processes, which feed directly into our clinical predictive models. Lightyear Health has a singular process driving our production models, which lead directly to patient treatment recommendations and outcomes.
  • Leverage your expertise in data modeling to enhance our clinical forecasting, working directly with our healthcare specialists to produce 
  • Partner with Lightyear Health’s Data Science team to build our data platform flows.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Experience building full cycle ETL pipelines; from data ingestion, through transformations, to creation of public artifacts
  • Experience establishing and managing data and workflow platforms (like Airflow)
  • Expertise in preparing data sets for production machine learning environments
  • 5+ years of overall engineering experience, 2+ years as a Data Engineer
  • Prior experience in healthcare/healthtech environments is a plus

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $150,000 and $180,000 USD annually. This does not include a stock option grant, which all of our team members receive. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework.
