We're looking for engineers to work on Wish Structure Data understanding.You will be working on building ML models to extract product supply structure data from listing contents (text, image, video, etc.) which will power the next-generation personalization experience.

The role is ideal for someone who has solid software engineering experience and the ability to build machine learning models/systems. It offers the unique opportunity to have a direct impact on key product initiatives, including but not limited to these areas: product feed relevance, ads delivery, information extraction, supply category growth, dynamic feed personalization.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop Service Oriented System and Machine Learning Infrastructure for structure data supply understanding.
• Build scalable, reliable, and efficient microservices for Wish structure data downstream application.
• Develop a model for product attribute extraction and listing reconciliation using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
• Creating new features and improving existing features for taxonomy classification.
• Build data pipelines to analyze data and collect training data for down-streaming applications.
• Big Data Analytics supports logging, data collection, modeling, and optimization.
• Creating production system, continuous deployment, and monitoring system to build/maintain a highly scalable and robust search system for Wish.

• Strong knowledge in Tensorflow, Pytorch, Golang, Python, Scala, or any other programming language
• Experience with distributed systems at an enterprise scale
• Extensive hands-on experience with Machine Learning, especially in the areas of search ranking and query/product retrieval
• Experience with development, integration, and tuning using Presto, Spark, Hive or other query processing frameworks
• Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in Machine learning and Software Development.
• Preferred Ph.D. in Machine Learning, IR, NLP, CV area
• Top publications in ACL, SIGIR, EMNLP, WSDM, KDD, WWW, CIKM
• Build and integrate high QPS, low latency, and scalable backend systems, services, and ML tools
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.)
• Solid work with fundamental algorithms, system design, and large distributed systems
• Practical expertise in various disciplines of information retrieval, machine learning, and natural language processing, such as text mining, classification, information extraction, feature engineering, ranking, and search relevance

The base salary range for this position is [$147,000- $210,000] annually. Please note that individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, qualifications and other business considerations.
