As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Director, Planning & Analysis. You will own major budgeting and forecasting processes to help Mission maximize revenue across service lines. As a senior member of the Finance team, you will lead analysis and create complex, driver-based budgeting and forecasting models, produce data analytics and visualizations for senior management and support Board package preparation. You will develop a deep understanding of the business and use  data to build insights about our key performance indicators and financial risks and opportunities. 

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic planning processes for Mission’s consulting services revenue streams
• Drive key finance processes including scenario modeling, workforce planning and management reporting
• Partner with business leaders to monitor and validate financial forecast assumptions, ensuring accuracy
• Develop high-quality, quantitative financial analysis including monthly P&L reports, what-if analysis, trend analysis and budget to actual variances
• Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, investigate variances and identify growth opportunities
• Prepare deliverables for Executive and Board meetings, in partnership with business stakeholders
• Drive financial model updates in Adaptive Insights based on feedback from business partners
• Own ad-hoc financial analysis projects driven by business needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field
• 7+  years of finance / FP&A, business intelligence or consulting experience
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Essbase, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, Cognos or similar financial planning tools, either as a back-end modeler or a front-end power user
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik
• Working knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required within 1 year of hire)
