The role

We are fast-paced, innovative & metric-driven, with a team who are passionate about delighting our members. We are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst town optimizing available inventory, how it's displayed and driving engagement for our members and growth for our Restaurants. The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing data modelling and processing along with the curiosity and creativity to invent and customize when necessary. This role combines a deep understanding of the business strategy and performance with analytical and technical capabilities to deliver insights and power data-driven decision making across the business.

In your role, you will be a key player working across multiple teams to deliver solutions that impact how members engage with our app. To be successful in this role you will be a curious self-starter with a passion for digging into data and leveraging Excel, SQL, Python, etc. to execute data analyses that drive the business forward.  You will have experience working with senior leaders and peers alike across multiple teams. What you’ll do

• Responsible for optimizing our available  inventory and how its displayed to our members 
• Partner closely with teams to brainstorm how to define and optimize key inventory metrics
• Partner with business leaders to strengthen - both in terms of approach and execution - decision making as it relates to their most high-priority inventory areas
• Executing on Seated surged and reward rates to drive GMV growth
• Testing out reward rates to support our Restaurant partners and hit targets
• Project manage additions and removals of Restaurant partners, including owning vetting rules, removal, and replacement process 
• Streamline schedules for new & existing restaurants 
• Analysis of inventory gaps, updates, configurations and opportunities, and creating specialized solutions
• Analysis of availability data and schedules to determine how to optimize this data
• Assist with analysis to drive audits for “broken” configurations 
• Identify opportunities to optimize how inventory is displayed to inform product roadmap
• Ad hoc inventory analysis for the sales and Restaurant teams to support inventory growth and optimization

What you’ll bring

• Bachelors in CS, Statistics, Economics or Engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience (at a marketplace is a big plus)
• Be an Excel expert with a passion for all things statistical and data related
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in operations, customer support, analytics, project management, or in a multi-faceted role at a startup
• Flexibility and adaptiveness in order to excel in fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Teamwork skills to partner with leaders and teams throughout the business
• Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex data sets into simple and digestible takeaways
• Experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI
