Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst, Performance Media to join the Data Analytics department and work on clients including Edible and RealTruck.com.


This position is remote to start and can be based in our Knoxville or Atlanta offices or continue remotely.

Principal Qualifications/Responsibilities Strategy:

The Sr. Data Analyst, Performance Media will report directly to the Associate Director and VP, Analytics.  You will be managing the planning, execution, evaluation and effective communication of data-driven, digital results and insights.  This includes the development and implementation of holistic, cross-channel measurement (and testing) plans.

What you will be doing:


Performance Measurement Strategy:

  • Driving conversion/revenue performance improvement across the digital ecosystem: paid digital marketing, website, retargeting, CRM, 3rd party publishers, social, etc. 
  • Support implementation and analysis of performance media strategy and reporting dashboards.
  • Align test and learn strategy across performance to refine targeting, tactics, and assets to drive KPIs.
  • Developing (with team) and executing cross channel media measurement and testing plans
  • Developing (with team) and executing sales funnel analysis, lifetime value analysis, customer segmentation and forecasting
  • Developing (with team) and executing tagging strategy 
  • Ensuring appropriate analytics integration into agency production processes


Assessment and Analysis:

  • Interpreting media marketing data and analyze its effects on KPIs and ROI
  • Delivering analyses (i.e. insights and actions) via the appropriate means (e.g. dashboards, deep dive analyses, infographics, etc.)
  • Presenting results in a simple, story-telling fashion
  • Collaborating with numerous partners and agency departments to keep analyses integrated and focused.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of working with analysis of digital media channels in a business environment; prior experience working in an ad agency is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of the   Web Analytics Platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) with an expert-level understanding of digital media platforms (social, e-mail) and metrics of digital success
  • Strong working knowledge of Tableau
  • Strong working knowledge of Marketing and Digital Marketing
  • Strong working knowledge of In-depth experience with AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, DCM is a plus
  • SQL knowledge or experience with database administration a plus

  • Experience in presenting analyses to both small and large groups
  • Bachelor's in Marketing or Analytics and/or equivalent work experience
  • Master's in Marketing or Business Analytics a plus
