Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist with a strong focus on Machine Learning to join our team. As a Data Scientist focussed on blockchain data, you will play a critical role in developing innovative data analysis techniques, and leveraging machine learning algorithms to derive valuable insights. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in statistics, programming, and data analysis, coupled with a deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms and techniques. Responsibilities
• Proactively identify opportunities where data can enhance our understanding of Blockchain.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models to support the core of our data science processes around clustering and entity attributions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and business teams to identify problems and formulate data-driven solutions
• Analyze large, complex blockchain datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be leveraged to drive decision-making
• Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems, leveraging algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for model training and validation

Requirements
• Have ideally at least 7+ years of experience
• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Computer Science,  Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark)

$175,000 - $225,000 a year
Compensation
The base salary pay range for this position is $175,000-$225,000 annually. Base salary may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and stock options may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
