Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging are important to me personally, and I feel very fortunate to be working with a private equity firm that similarly prioritizes these initiatives, and an executive team at AirDNA that has embraced DEIB as a strategic imperative in our business. Our 2024 Force For Good Report featured AirDNA, a short-term rental intelligence business with offices in Denver, Colorado, and Barcelona, Spain, which was acquired by Alpine-backed predictis in 2022. At the time, the multinational company was expanding fast. Its executive team, including Senior Director of People Operations Anna Westcot, SPHR and CEO Demi Horvat, saw a clear need for more equitable and inclusive hiring practices. In response, AirDNA took a cue from Alpine Investors’ Playbook and created a One Page Plan (OPP) for its 2023 diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) programming. This included goals for the year to (1) increase gender diversity in the company’s tech workforce and leadership team and (2) to promote racial diversity in the company’s U.S. offices, through inclusive hiring practices.
