    As we continue our Meet Our Leader series, we’re featuring our Vice President of Commercialization, Megan Prichard. - Megan has over a decade of experience in the technology and transportation industries where she has worked with mobility service providers that include airlines, electric bikes, scooters, and ride-hailing. A lawyer by trade, she worked as a management consultant at McKinsey before joining Uber and Ford Motor Company, respectively, where she held various leadership roles. At Cruise, she is responsible for bringing self-driving technology to market and providing a topnotch ridehail and delivery experience for customers and communities.

    As we continue our Meet Our Leader series, we’re featuring our Policy Manager for Public Safety, Edward H. - Ed Hutchison is the Policy Manager for Public Safety at Cruise. In his role, he trains first responders to safely and effectively interact with our autonomous vehicle fleet. Before Cruise, Ed managed policy partnership and law enforcement liaisons at Lyft, and spent 20 years at the National Sheriffs' Association working with government agencies on safety and law enforcement projects. Ed has deep volunteer roots in organizations like the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Board of Directors and the Names Committee that support community, road safety, law enforcement, and governmental collaboration.

    Today, we invite you to get to know our Chief Human Resources Officer, Nilka Thomas. - Nilka has 20 years of progressive experience in strategic HR leadership and key talent acquisition roles in various industries, private and public companies, and international organizations. She joined Cruise from Lyft where she held the position as Chief People Officer, and prior to that spent over a decade at Google. At Cruise she is responsible for overseeing functions such as compensation, benefits, people analytics, workplace and real estate, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, talent management and people operations. Nilka is passionate about rallying employees around a common mission, and believes that access to transportation can improve people’s lives and the cities we live in.

    We’re pleased to introduce to you our Chief Safety Officer, Steve Kenner.  - Steve, with a distinguished 40-year career in engineering and automotive safety, has worked with leading companies such as Apple, Uber, Ford, and GM. Steve most recently joined us from Kodiak Robotics, where he led the company's safety initiatives. At Cruise, Steve leads the efforts of our safety teams including the safety management system, operational safety, quality management, and environmental health and safety. As a passionate advocate for the safety of Cruise passengers and vulnerable road users, Steve's background and safety experience in the automotive and AV industries are invaluable assets to our company.

    We’ve welcomed new leadership to help us build a better Cruise. In this series, we’ll introduce you to the leaders committed to our mission to save and improve lives through self-driving technology.  First up, please meet Craig Glidden and Mohamed (Mo) Elshenawy. – Craig joins Cruise with vast experience in public policy and corporate strategy. He is the President and Chief Administrative Officer at Cruise, Executive Vice President of Legal & Policy for General Motors and a member of the Cruise Board. Craig joined GM in March 2015 and has led transformative initiatives across departments to support the company’s vision of a future with zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion. At Cruise, Craig is a close advisor to all senior leadership and heads our initiatives in government relations, community engagement, and transparent communication. Mo brings more than 25 years of engineering and leadership expertise to Cruise. Over the last six years, he has played a pivotal role in driving Cruise's engineering advancements, while scaling the team from hundreds to thousands of engineers. He combines a passion for technical excellence with a compassionate leadership style to cultivate a culture of resilience and innovation. Mo currently leads Cruise’s engineering, operations, and product teams – those who are responsible for all aspects of our autonomous vehicles development and deployment, including AI, robotics, simulation, product, program, data and machine learning platforms, infrastructure, security, safety, operations, and hardware.
