Yesterday, Team Assembly (a project of Cultivate) launched our seventh coaching cohort of #2's across the progressive movement. 17 participants with the title #chiefoperatingofficer #coo #chiefofstaff #deputy #managingdirector and more will be working the next 5 weeks to strengthen culture & infrastructure across the sector. Because we can't rebuild and win these critical fights if our orgs & teams aren't set up for success. Our favorite opening exercise involves crowdsourcing the best pieces of #advice these leaders have gathered in their career: 🗺️ "What got you here, won’t get you there." 🫵 "You already have the answers; trust yourself." 👯 "Are you the only person who can do it? No? Then delegate!" 🦜 "No one actually knows what they are doing. We’re all just winging it." 🔍 "Trust but verify." Have you carried some of these yourself?
