To further support the growth of its golf platform, Zelus has also recently hired William Knauth as a data scientist and researcher. Also a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Knauth is currently pursuing a PhD in statistics at Columbia University in New York City and was the recipient of the 2022 Byron Nelson Award presented by Srixon/Cleveland Golf. As a result, he competed in the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson Championship on the PGA Tour, and brings a unique combination of high-level golf experience and background in statistics to the Zelus Golf platform.

TourIQ's head of technology, Philip Baker, also joins Zelus Analytics as part of the acquisition. Baker, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, spent four seasons with the Cleveland Guardians, most recently as their Assistant Director of Baseball Systems. Baker brings experience integrating sports and technology from the highest levels of Major League Baseball to help support PGA Tour professionals with the same level of sophistication.
