The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. Establishes metrics, provides data analyses, and works directly to support business intelligence. The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting ensures data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data. The role will require collaboration with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshooting problems, and explaining the results of complex analysis to non-actuarial audiences.
One should understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. One will make decisions regarding their own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and receiving guidance where needed. The analyst should follow established guidelines/procedures, while also looking for opportunities to improve methods and efficiency.
Specific role responsibilities include valuation of changes to provider networks, targeted contracting, member retention studies, collaborating with physician network and market strategy teams and scorecard contributions and presentations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
- Strong communication skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAS

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 - $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
