You’ll work on the following:

  • Manage and hire a growing team of analysts and analytics engineers to deliver a wide variety of data consulting projects, in collaboration with other 4 Mile practice areas
  • Provides hands-on and advisory consulting to our most strategic clients and partners
  • Be a public face of analytics at 4 Mile, promoting yourself and the company as analytics thought leaders
  • Incorporate new skills and perspectives into our internal training programs and ultimately our delivery capabilities based on your past experiences as a data professional
  • Participate in resource assignments and professional development of staff
  • Participate in analytics-related aspects of sales, marketing, and partnerships
  • Perform the duties of a data analyst or analytics engineer, as needed
  • Reports to the Director of Analytics

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-4 years of experience in analytics or data-related management, consulting, IT architecture, or product management
  • Experience with people management and technical mentorship
  • Strong experience with Agile development
  • Specific expertise in the following areas:
    • SQL
    • Looker
    • CI/CD best practices
    • Google BigQuery and other cloud warehouses
    • Dimensional data modeling
    • Overview and conceptual understanding of data pipelines
    • dbt
  • Bonus skills:
    • GCP Professional certifications
    • Orchestration tools such as airflow or prefect
