BI Analyst - Tableau: This is a remote position within +/- 2 hours of Eastern Standard Time zones (NYC).

Job Description:

Blue Orange is looking for a BI Analyst (Tableau Specialist) to join our talented multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics and quality. The ideal candidate will be well versed in SQL and modern data technologies, understand how to drive the extraction of business requirements for data visualizations & reporting, assess data quality, and have great communications skills. This candidate will work on analyzing and extracting information from source data, help interpret and visualize data, define data quality needs, and help make sure they are met.

Responsibilities:

• Discovery of client requirements and models into dimensions, metrics, dashboards, and reports.
• Work with source data systems to extract and analyze data to assist in defining the requirements for the warehouse.
• Perform SQL queries - design, code, test, and aggregate the results to create useful information.
• Write technical documents on database content.
• Map various databases used in the organization.

Qualifications:

• 1+ Years of experience with data analysis, including data cleansing, and data visualization.
• Experience with using data visualization tools, like Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, and PowerBI.
• Experience with warehouse design data modeling.
• Expert-level skills with SQL and statistical methods to analyze and model behavioral data
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Preferred Software Experience:

• Certification from Tableau, Snowflake, DBT
• Experimented in EDW environment, multidimensional modeling using OLAP/MDX databases.
• Perform dashboard migration from/to Tableau.
• Tableau Server/Cloud experience

Required Education:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary: $4000 - 6500 (USD - monthly)
