What We're Looking For:

At Sift, data drives our decision-making. We are looking for someone to help us scale up our business intelligence and operations capabilities to deliver the same level of rigor, automation, and insights to our internal customers that we deliver through our product for external customers.

What You’ll Do: 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create data solutions at scale by partnering with teams across different levels of the organization to drive insights to key stakeholders on the health of the business and to inform all manner of strategic decisions. 

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automation and self-service, you will be an important partner and advisor to the business.

Using your technical skills, business acumen and creativity, you will build tools to automate reporting and generate insight that will allow leaders to quickly and accurately see how our key business functions and processes are performing. You’ll be involved in projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that your analysis and reporting delivers high-quality and relevant data to intelligently grow our business. You will also have extensive knowledge of key business systems, such as SFDC, Gainsight, and Snowflake and experience working with a range of other business intelligence, tools and platforms.

Role & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives. (Examples include: researching and analyzing key business drivers and customer trends to identify new growth opportunities or improve sales and marketing efficiency).
  • Execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to communicate business performance in relation to company and/or initiative goals.
  • Structure and execute initiatives by gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations.
  • Project manage cross-functional teams to drive results.

What Would Make You a Strong Fit: 

  • BS degree in Computer Science; or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2-3 years of experience working with large datasets (think TBs of data, tens of thousands of features) in both batch and streaming environments.
  • Experience using Tableau, Looker, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with programming in Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
  • Modeling and presentation skills.
