Job Description
The Data & Relevancy team is responsible for Search, Recommendation and Advertising at Wish. We build end-to-end AI systems, core microservices, and infrastructures by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to impact millions of users with personalized shopping experiences everyday.
We are looking for an outstanding machine learning engineer to join our team! The role will provide an opportunity to work on large scale machine learning to improve our Search, Recommendation and Advertising experience at Wish.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to deeply understand our products and users.
Build highly scalable and available AI systems, microservices and infrastructures to improve our search, recommendation and advertising experience.
Work and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers in crafting and implementing your data-driven solutions end to end.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
1+ years of industry experience in software engineering and applied machine learning related domain.
Solid programming skills with proven experience designing, developing and delivering advanced AI/ML and engineering systems.
Passionate, great communication skills, strong ownership, self-motivated, and inventive.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing or computer vision.
Experience with big data platforms and building large scale distributed systems.
Publications in top tier conferences, such as ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, NeurIPS, KDD, AAAI, CVPR, etc.
Experience with natural language understanding, search engine, recommender system, advertising, knowledge graph, etc.
