The GTM Strategy & Operations group within Yelp’s Multi-Location Sales team assists its leaders analyze and drive the business forward. You'll track the performance of our Sales teams’, perform strategic analysis, and design processes to enable the organization to scale efficiently.
As a Sr. Analyst you will help build the foundation on which the business operates off by providing reporting and analytical support to help understand the health of the business as well as identifying and interpreting key business trends.
This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.
Where you come in:
- You will manage weekly/monthly reports including but not limited to Sales pipeline documents, operational KPI trackers and Monthly/Quarterly business reviews
- You will build/optimize reporting to ensure our leadership team has a clear pulse on the business, helping the team to drive business decisions and direct Sales’ strategy
- You will help to refine the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics, delivering regular insights to the business
- You will assist in ad hoc projects across the Strategy & Ops team with tasks including but not limited to data extractions (via SQL), data aggregation and manipulation, and data modeling
What it takes to succeed:
- You have 4+ years of work experience in Sales/Business operations, Sales strategy, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Investment Banking and/or Strategy consulting, ideally in a high-growth environment
- You have experience writing advanced SQL (Postgres preferred) queries (advanced joins, subqueries)
- You have a fundamental understanding of Tableau (workbook creation and data blending)
- You have advanced Excel Skills
- You have demonstrated problem solving experience with a strong track record of drawing insights from large datasets and translating those into actionable strategies
- You are a team player who is comfortable working in a high-growth, ambiguous environment
- You have the ability and desire to learn on the go and proactively identify opportunities to grow within the role
What you'll get:

- Compensation range is $89,000 to $125,000 annually. You may also be offered a cash bonus and benefits.
