Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategic Analytics that will be responsible for our Marketing Analytics department and support the team with their deep analysis experience. You will work with the Head of Revenue Marketing and will manage a team of business analysts, perform the role of strategic thought partner for key Marketing team members, drive awareness around key product analytics updates, and serve as the voice of data and analytics in meetings and on key initiatives that enable us to grow our business.

A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategic Analytics at Calendly

You will use your extensive knowledge of marketing to help deliver value to our partners; through our the quality of our reporting and proactive insights that help craft key future-looking decisions. You will also help develop our business analyst's with their technical skills, sharpening their understanding of Calendly's business, and helping them build up the skills of translating sophisticated data into easily digestible information.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Leading the Marketing Analytics Team and be an active driver of development within each business analyst.
  • Being a thought-leader in the company by establishing meaningful relationships, demonstrating technical expertise, and understanding the customer experience.
  • Distilling sophisticated data and concepts into clear, compelling presentations, sharing results to all levels of the organization. Support building the business analyst's ability to communicate sophisticated data sets into easy to understand information.
  • Partnering with the engineering team to create the data roadmap and implement data architecture initiatives
  • Demonstrating our ability to understand proprietary data and third-party sources to identify patterns of customer behavior, business trends, and size strategic opportunities
  • Collaborating with company-wide analytics and data teams to represent Marketing with data engineering priorities, data structure/schema, and tooling stack.

What do we need from you?

  • 10+ years of experience in an analytics role
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Excellent, caring people manager that prioritizes personal and professional development.
  • Self-starter that thrives in an unstructured and fast-moving environment.
  • Intellectually curious and enjoys creative problem solving.
  • Phenomenal teammate who loves collaborating with people and is willing to tackle additional responsibility where vital.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively synthesize sophisticated findings into useful insights for all levels of the organization
  • Must have SQL experience; specifically writing queries pulling data from various data tables.
  • Comfortable creating analysis in Excel, Google Sheets, and Visualization Tools (e.g., Mode and Tableau)
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
