Do you want to be part of a team focused on working strategically across the organization enabling and empowering insights to action? Yelp is looking for a Senior Manager, People Insights & Analytics to join the People team. 

As a member of the People Strategy, Insights, & Ops team; we believe in leading with empathy and connecting the dots to deliver evidence-based decision making. We partner across the business to ensure alignment with our Yelp values, while establishing practices that deliver on business and people strategy. This is a full-time remote position based in the United States.

Where You Come In:

    • You are a strategic thinker, concept visualizer, and builder; who thrives on understanding success measures and communicating impact (so what?). You understand and are curious about the complexity of data lifecycle management, analysis techniques, and advancements in people research.  You are passionate about collaborating, problem solving, and leading a team.
    • You will lead the co-creation of an integrated people insights strategy working closely with the leadership team, Business Partners, DEI, People Tech, PMO, Total Rewards, and Talent Management areas to name a few. 
    • Design and execute our employee listening playbook & action planning across the organization in partnership with our Business Partner teams.
    • Advance people analytics scalability and automation through external research and internal partnerships by developing people / talent use cases and developing Tableau & Workday dashboards 
    • Execute and direct quantitative & qualitative analyses, visualizations, & data story boards that connect insights to recommendations and decisions
    • Lead change management efforts that improve business decisions with People-data, own executive updates on people / talent measures.
    • You will adhere to legal and company standards with regards to data ethics, privacy, protection and security.
    • You will drive opportunities identified that improve reporting effectiveness, accuracy, and quality of data.

What It Takes To Succeed

    • Master’s degree or equivalent, in business intelligence, analytics, human resources or related field 
    • You have 5+ years of relevant analytics experience in People / Talent, Human Resources, solving workforce problems using quantitative & qualitative approaches.
    • Advanced experience with Tableau, Workday, and Excel is a must
    • You’re skilled in and experienced with data lifecycle management, visualizations, data interpretation & storytelling, and developing dynamic dashboards.
    • You are an exceptional problem solver with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights.
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly across teams.
    • Skilled in driving change management and adoption with a focus on communicating impact and outcomes, this may include summarizing complex concepts, decisions, and risks to exec-level audience
    • Ability to dive deep into details, roll up sleeves while leading, motivating and inspiring a high performing team
    • Support and advise senior and executive leaders on actions
    • Be a demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly synergetic, multi-disciplinary team

What You'll Get:

    • Compensation range is $124,000 to $232,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits
