About The Okta Personal Team
Okta’s mission is to free everyone to safely use any technology, and we are already a category leader in both Workforce Identity and Customer Identity. Okta’s next phase is to bring the same security and ease of use to the rest of our lives outside of work through Okta Personal. Okta Personal is a direct-to-consumer product and we aim to make digital living safe and seamless for everyone.

About the role
We’re looking for our first product analyst to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product. As a Senior Product Analyst on Okta Personal, you’ll be reporting into the product management team. The ideal candidate will leverage their data chops to create insights based on user behaviors at every stage of the user journey, including onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention.
What you’ll do
- Own deep-dive analysis of post-launch impact and recommendations to optimize product experience
- Drive product strategy and inform the product roadmap by conducting quantitative research into key user behaviors and trends, in partnership with product managers
- Perform exploratory analysis with minimal direction to answer ambiguous open-ended questions
- Build and maintain core team metrics and dashboards
- Own our analytics infrastructure and tooling
- Create and present reports and presentations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
Who you are
- You love product and user analytics and understand the tools, data, and process to create insights and recommendations that inform roadmaps and strategy
- You have proven experience as a Product Analyst or similar data-centric role, with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- You have experience working on a consumer product
- You have significant experience with SQL
- You have advanced knowledge of visualization tools, including Tableau
- You have analytical curiosity and the ability to solve unstructured problems
- Bonus points for experience with A/B testing, Amplitude, Pendo
- Bonus points setting up analytics tools from scratch

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$122,000—$165,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $135,000—$182,000 USD
