This is a full-time fully remote position for Europe-based applicants within +/- 2 hours of Central European Time (CET). Resume must demonstrate professional English ability.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and constructing highly efficient, adaptable, and scalable data pipelines to support our clients' data ingestion, processing, and storage needs
• Building and maintaining the necessary supporting infrastructure in AWS/Kubernetes, ensuring robust and reliable data systems.
• Taking full ownership of the entire development cycle, including architecting, implementing, testing, delivering, and maintaining data engineering solutions
• Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues, consistently seeking opportunities for optimization and improvement to enhance performance and reliability
• Ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of data pipelines, infrastructure, and processes, promoting knowledge sharing and accurate system understanding

Requirements :

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data engineering, or a related field
• At least 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency in AWS, particularly in utilizing data-related services to architect and manage data pipelines effectively
• Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, handling substantial volumes of data efficiently
• Familiarity with stream processing frameworks and event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark) to handle real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Java, Python, or Scala, enabling effective data manipulation, transformation, and analysis
• Solid understanding of DevOps concepts, including deploying applications to Kubernetes and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and communication with clients and team members

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience working with clients, demonstrating an understanding of cultural dynamics and the ability to effectively collaborate across time zones.

Salary: 51.470,10 € EUR - 74.865,60 € EUR (Annually)
