Where You Come In:

    • Lead recruiting analytics projects that are core to Yelp’s recruitment strategy. 
    • Communicate key insights to decision makers and recruiting leaders. 
    • Identify new strategic opportunities in the recruitment and hiring process.
    • Manage tight deadlines and quickly iterate analyses to answer unstructured talent questions, deliver actionable learnings, and make strategic recommendations.
    • Work cross-functionally with product and engineering to define and track Yelp’s key hiring goals.
    • Create dashboards and ad hoc reports that help the Technical Talent organization make data-driven decisions.
    • Grow and maintain impactful relationships with stakeholders of both technical and non technical backgrounds with clear and frequent communication.

What It Takes to Succeed

    • BA/BS or graduate degree in a quantitative or social sciences (mathematics, statistics, psychology, sociology, etc.), or equivalent experience
    • An analytic mindset, with experience organizing datasets, identifying and correcting errors, and presenting the results of your analysis.
    • Familiarity with recruiting software, talent pipelines and interviewing best practices.
    • 3 or more years of quantitative industry experience, ideally within the recruiting or people operations space.
    • Experience performing statistical analyses to drive process improvements, bonus points for improvements with a focus on equity and inclusion. 
    • Excel or Google Sheets knowledge, including functions like vlookups, countifs, pivot tables, etc. 
    • Experience using SQL and working with multiple data sources to create dashboards, identify KPIs, and perform quantitative analyses.  Experience with BigQuery is a plus. 
    • An eye for compelling data visualization and experience with related tools (Tableau, Mode, Looker).
