True Fit is looking for an AB Testing Data Scientist to work with our team in the US. True Fit is 100% remote, so you can work from almost anywhere!

Data Scientist - AB Testing & Statistics Specialty

True Fit is searching for a Data Scientist with expertise in statistics & online A/B testing to be an important part of our Data Science & Engineering department.

You’ll be driving several projects, which include:

  • Collaborating with product management to optimize the performance of all aspects of our user experience
  • Providing guidance, analyses, and interpretations of  A/B Tests to internal and external clients
  • Providing statistical expertise to ongoing projects, including explaining statistical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep investigations to solve unstructured/ambiguous problems including discovering unknown issues or trends that can influence product performance and our future roadmap

We use typical data science tools including: Python, Pandas, PySpark, SQL, Jenkins, Jupyter, Databricks, etc.

Communication with other teams is very important in this role and we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. We work closely with product management, data science, sales, and customer success - and we work internationally. We’re looking for someone who can communicate technical ideas to non-technical people and who works well as part of a team.

Education:

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field with statistical and experimental focus, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of and comfort using statistics (e.g., t-tests, Monte Carlo Simulations, understanding of power & confidence)
  • Experience in designing, analyzing, interpreting, & debugging online A/B tests

Nice to have:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (Hive, Postgres, etc.) as well as experience using Python Pandas, R, or other powerful statistical analytics packages & tools
  • Experience working with third party A/B testing tools.
  • Experience with big data/ distributed data tools
