Growing to possess one of the largest gig-driver networks in the mobility industry has enabled Gridwise to amass the most comprehensive gig mobility dataset in the industry and capitalize on a $50B data-as-a-service opportunity through Gridwise Analytics

Gridwise is on its way to becoming the de facto operating platform for gig drivers and offer solutions that empower the entire ecosystem with solutions built to improve the way people and goods move.

The role 

To support the rapid growth of Gridwise Analytics, we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business for our emerging data product across several key verticals (Gig Services, Financial Services, Real Estate Site Selection, etc.). We are looking for a sales leader who can own the end-to-end process from prospecting to close. As a founding member of the go-to-market team, this person will also help inform our sales playbook, create new collateral, and advise leadership on where to make future investments. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, this person will be a subject matter expert in the data and analytics industry and be comfortable advising customers on how our proprietary, first-to-market data offering can help accelerate their business outcomes.

What you're responsible for 

  • Secure new business and maximize account value over time by owning the account relationship from prospect to renewal
  • Identify new business opportunities through scalable and creative prospecting strategies
  • Partner with the business development and marketing teams to augment self-sourced prospecting activity
  • Leverage technical understanding of our data products to creatively address customer needs across different verticals and use cases
  • Assist Customer Success team with onboarding new customers after deal close - this includes data configurations, technical integration for data delivery, kickoff calls, and ongoing executive business reviews
  • Collaborate with internal Product & Engineering teams to ensure prospect and customer feedback informs the product roadmap priorities and feature enhancements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help build customer credibility through case studies, co-marketing, events/webinars, etc.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to manage existing accounts and increase account contract value by identifying upsell opportunities

What we're looking for 

  • 5+ years experience with a successful track record operating in data, analytics, software, or other recurring revenue businesses
  • Technically proficient in understanding software and analytics products (experience using BI tools like Looker a huge plus)
  • Proven ability to manage enterprise accounts across multiple sizes, verticals, and use cases
  • A strong track record of working with decision-makers within organizations to align product value with organizational need and budget
  • Proven ability to close annual renewal and upsell contracts with existing customers across proven and emerging verticals
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach to your work
  • Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, leveraging sales prospecting tools, CRM, and product documentation, customer notes, etc.
  • Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) experience a plus
