As our first Analytics Engineer, you will help build our data stack to serve our business needs and to cultivate a data-informed culture. If you are ready to get your hands dirty, curious, and motivated by having a huge impact on the business, this role could be a great fit for you!
What You’ll Do
- Design, create, and maintain analytics friendly datasets, broadly and easily consumable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure robust data instrumentation.
- Standardize, monitor, and document data assets to ensure consistent and high quality data.
- Partner closely with product, marketing, finance, and business development teams to define metrics and develop dashboards to democratize data, build data intuition, and inform business decisions.
- Assess and implement new data stack technologies as needed.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience implementing and defining best data practices (e.g. logging, data monitoring) at scale.
- Effective communicator and ability to translate business needs into tractable work items.
- Curiosity and strong willingness to learn new subject areas, savviness to navigate and thrive in a dynamic environment, and a growth mindset needed to build a successful team and company.
