We’re looking for a driven Analytics Engineer to scale up our analytics capabilities across the entire organization. You will gain valuable experience partnering with leadership in the product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to build data tools, develop analyses, and training stakeholders. Through this process, you will expand your skill set, and move from being a technical resource to a trusted analyst and business partner who not only understands, but anticipates the needs of the business. As a founding member of the analytics team you will be critical in helping us set a vision, and scaling, the data & analytics team at Lola.com.

Your (analytics) Beliefs:

• Analytics logic should be written in code
• The analytics practice should borrow from best practices in software engineering (especially version control, testing, code reviews, and documentation).
• Every employee (managers AND individual contributors) should have access to all company data, and develop the ability to pull and model data to answer their business questions.

You Have/Are:

• A strong foundation in SQL
• Experience building BI data models in modern data warehouses and visualization tools (our stack includes Stitch, Snowflake, dbt, and Looker).
• Prior experience working with product event data and/or deploying business analytics at scale (a plus, but not a requirement).
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• An effective translator - you are able to explain technical processes or analyses to a non-technical audience
