Developing an autonomous vehicle is a complex problem spanning multiple domains. To ensure our engineering and operation teams can run at full speed, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to work on our Infrastructure Team. Your primary goal is to be responsible for solving challenging distributed systems problems and scaling our data pipelines. You will be working with cutting edge hardware & software and pushing systems to their limits to allow us to ingest, process, and expose the large amounts of data that we’re collecting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience writing production-level code with Python and/or Node.JS
- Experience building systems for ingesting and processing large data sets
- Knowledge of AWS and/or other cloud computer services
- Experience using at least one testing framework
- Value the importance of writing clean, maintainable code
