Whether you’re watching the delivery of your grocery order on Instacart, looking at a gym on ClassPass, sending your snaps on Snap, tracking your personal best on Strava, monitoring your gas budget on Metromile, or checking today’s forecast on The Weather Channel, Mapbox is the location and maps within those apps. We’re changing how people move by live-mapping the world. We are the developer platform for location.

What You’ll Do

  • Build insightful and reliable reports and dashboards for various stakeholders 
  • Take ownership of business performance reporting and ad-hoc analysis and deliver key insights to stakeholders to support strategic business decisions
  • Manage a single source of truth for key customer, sales and operational metrics
  • Ability to structure complex problems, derive insights from data, and articulate clearly with diverse teams up to the senior leadership level
  • Help extract, transform, and build data structures, dashboards, and reports to support analytical needs of the team and key stakeholders. Provide accurate, clean, and meaningful data for a variety of communication and reporting purposes.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and drive proactive engagement to identify, prioritize, develop, and execute a against our sales operational plan

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • +4 years of experience with analytical work in sales, management consulting, or in financial services
  • Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining SQL scripts, data tables and dashboards
  • Expert level excel skills, you can build a model for any business motion
  • Experience designing, communicating, and presenting analysis and solutions to stakeholders
