About This Position: As we continue to grow our web and digital capabilities for our nonprofit clients, we’re looking for people to play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Engineering with the evolution of our company data and cloud architecture. In addition to supporting extensions to the data warehouse design, this role will design and develop ETL required to onboard new types of business data. Finally, this role will provide support for Analytics assignments as needed.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:  We envision the person in this role investing their time in the following disciplines:

  • Full life cycle activities of data analytics to include requirements and design, data cleaning, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, linking databases and data sets. Provides expertise and authority on accurate meanings in source data.
  • Continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in models; and to do related work as required. 
  • Perform basic data management, data cleaning and statistical analysis using Python, R, or other statistical programming language on client data.
  • Produce and analyze reports with existing metrics, reports, dashboards, and BI processes to support ongoing, client success and improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups providing data & analytics support and reports.
  • Effectively communicate technical and general information to a variety of audiences including leadership and internal and external clients.
  • Lead technical conversations with different stakeholders to resolve any data issues, and support during the onboarding process, which includes data ingestion, normalization, and QC activities.
  • Efficiently manage our providers’ onboarding process through team delegation, ensuring customer delight.
  • Develop other databases and train non-analytics staff on proper data principles on an as-needed basis.


Additional Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as:  Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Public Health, or related field

Language:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in use of data analytics and visualization software (e.g., Python, SQL, R, Tableau) as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel pivot tables.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in navigating computer systems; ability to learn new data systems quickly and to comply with data integrity and security to safeguard all personal identifiable information.
  • Highly motivated and organized with the ability to work well in teams and independently on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to be efficient and consistently deliver high-quality work under time constraints.
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional, positive attitude and work ethic.

     

Location 

We welcome applications from candidates across the country. The person in this role will be interacting daily with people who are 100% remote, and we welcome more full-time remote employees. Though we support flexible schedules, it’s important to note that our clients are largely based in Eastern Time. We are headquartered in Concord, NH and have pockets of employees who live in all three time zones.
