About the role

As the first data analyst hired at Scribe, you will be critical in helping the company make data-driven decisions. You'll be celebrated when your analyses change minds in ways that support our mission and boost our KPIs. You will work closely with the growth, product, marketing, and sales teams to analyze and interpret data, create reports, and provide insights that will inform business strategy and product development. This role requires a strong analytical and critical-thinking mindset, as well as an ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help stakeholders understand data insights
  • Work with product and engineering teams to identify and track key performance metrics
  • Conduct research and provide insights to support business strategy
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
  • Provide regular updates on data analysis progress to management and other stakeholders
  • Help develop data-driven solutions to business problems
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to optimize data collection and analysis processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering
  • 2-6 years of experience in data analysis, with startup experience preferred
  • Experience working with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Looker
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
