Greenlight Guru is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to add to the team. As Greenlight Guru grows, data analysis requests, data infrastructure updates, and mathematical modeling opportunities increase. The data analytics team within Greenlight Guru transforms data into critical information for the organization, developing decision support models, managing integrations between a variety of applications, and owning the business intelligence ecosystem. You will be responsible for working closely with the rest of the data analytics team to scale analytical capabilities to meet the company's expanding needs.


Serving as a key player of our team and reporting to our Data & Analytics Director, this role will allow the data team to simultaneously build the data ecosystem to world-class standards while meeting the analytical needs of different departments. This role requires a “jack-of-all-trades” mentality that is proactive, can create solutions when needed, and work across departments. Our innovative SaaS offering is poised to revolutionize how Medical Device companies invent, design, manufacture, sell, and support their wares. Roles and responsibilities:

  • Utilize technical, analytical, and business skills to meet growing organizational data needs
  • Continually enhance the organization’s business intelligence solution through building new data visualizations, analyzing data using Snowflake data models/SQL/dbt Online, and serving as an admin for Tableau.
  • Ensure new and existing dashboards meet user needs, and that analysis is easy to find, clearly understandable and actionable, fast and intuitive to navigate, and reliable.
  • Act as spokesperson, domain expert, and technical help for Tableau, providing training and guidance to promote data literacy and self-service analytics throughout the organization
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy through auditing analytical outputs, finding outliers, and reporting data quality issues to their originating departments, applying automation wherever possible
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to bring further efficiency and clarity to the team’s processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc, routine, and long-term data analyses and create dashboards that reveal the true story behind the data
  • Authentically and effectively communicate with members of various teams within the organization.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of business intelligence or data analysis experience
  • Background in a technical or quantitative field including but not limited to: mathematics, computer science, economics, engineering, biology, chemistry, business, and more
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and synthesize information using programming languages (SQL, Python, and/or R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Sisense, etc.)
  • Domain experience (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, etc.) working at a SaaS organization is a major plus.
  • Some experience with dbt Online/Core is a major plus
  • Some experience with a cloud-based data warehousing application such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Azure SQL Data Warehouse is a plus
  • Must have a growth mindset with a natural curiosity for learning new skills and business perspectives
  • Self-starter with the ability to apply creativity to their tasks with a critical eye for accuracy
