We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Application Development and Business Intelligence team. This role will be responsible for supporting and consulting on data-driven projects related to corporate metrics/KPI definition and reporting, ROI analysis, forecasting and predictive modeling. The position requires an individual that is highly detail oriented, capable of managing multiple workstreams concurrently, effective communicator to a wide-range of stakeholders, strong analytical skills, enjoys problem solving, and is a creative thinker. Adaptable, agile and the ability to re-prioritize projects based on evolving business conditions are also key skills for this position. This role will be part of a group of analytical professionals who are constantly striving to find innovative ways to support and guide our rapidly growing organization. Each team member is committed and passionate to delivering the key data insights required to help grow revenue for our hybrid cloud network monitoring software.
What you’ll be doing…
- Provide data-driven insights and communicate complex analyses in easy to digest terms. Articulate clear, impactful stories to the business and leadership through data.
- Improve data fidelity, connect disparate data through enhanced source mapping, evaluate data lake opportunities and develop a common data dictionary across the Enterprise.
- Utilize your strong data management skills to extract, clean, transform and merge data accurately.
- Consult with Enterprise stakeholders on information requests surrounding KPI’s, metrics and financial reporting to create data driven deliverables that meet their business requirements.
- Formalize the ROI analysis on approved investment cases.
- Conduct advanced multivariate analyses and present data accurately with attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualities you possess…
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with front-end reporting applications such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Strong data analysis experience and proficiency with the following systems is preferred:
- Salesforce
- JIRA
- Netsuite
- Advanced Excel and Data Presentation skills.
- Proficiency in managing highly analytical initiatives.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Growth mindset with a bias towards action. Ability to work w/ different department owners to drive process improvement(s).
- Proven statistical applications skills (R, SPSS, Python preferred)
