As a Business Intelligence Lead, you will drive and enhance the performance of our business by analyzing data from multiple systems, developing reports and dashboards to illustrate trends, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights for business leaders. A GoGuardian Business Intelligence Lead is someone who is passionate about accelerating business growth by enabling data-driven decision-making, values cross-functional partnerships, and is eager to work with stakeholders at all levels to provide meaningful insights. As a member of GoGuardian’s Business Intelligence team, you should be prepared to work in an environment of rapid experimentation and growth and comfortable creating structure in ambiguous contexts.

What You'll Do

    • Drive quantitative data analysis or qualitative assessments with data from multiple sources (e.g., Sales or Marketing Platforms, HR systems, Product) for solving complex business problems
    • Discern business implications from quantitative and qualitative data analysis
    • Develop compelling data visualizations, data products, reports, and dashboards that enable audiences to readily discern key trends
    • Identify and communicate key insights to executive stakeholders across the organization including the Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product, and People organizations
    • Reinforce a data-driven culture across the organization
    • Integrate quantitative data into contextual narratives that drive business action
    • Identify challenges and opportunities that may impact the company’s success
    • Synthesize insights and analytics from across multiple functions and provide a perspective on emerging issues
    • Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders that engage the appropriate audiences and convey information in a concise, timely, and understandable format

Who You Are

    • Masters or Doctorate degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Statistics)
    • 5+ years of experience analyzing data from disparate systems such as Salesforce, Hubspot and Google Analytics, preferably with a high growth SaaS company
    • Advanced SQL skills and 4+ years of experience managing large datasets and running complex queries using CTE’s, Window & recursive functions
    • Prior experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Looker
    • Experience working in SaaS companies and familiarity with the unique KPIs utilized in this context
    • Strong knowledge of the Sales, Product and Marketing systems utilized in a SaaS and/or technology company and experience extracting valuable data from these systems to drive business insights (e.g., Salesforce, ZenDesk, Hubspot etc)
    • Prior experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and translating these findings into meaningful results for an executive audience
    • Prior experience managing multiple stakeholders on high-visibility projects
    • Bonus if you have:Experience working with K-12 schools
