Newfront’s Business Operations Analyst for Marketing and Sales Enablement joins at an exciting juncture in our company’s growth and will play a leading role in shaping the direction of our overall content and thought leadership efforts. The Analyst will drive the research, development, and execution of key content and thought leadership programs that solidify the company's position as the modern insurance brokerage. 

We're looking for an analytically curious storyteller with strong editorial judgment to help take our content to the next level. The ideal candidate is an exceptional researcher who's as comfortable playing with data as they are storyboarding and writing a soon-to-be viral report.


This position is a salaried, exempt and full-time role and will report to the Director of Product Marketing . Requires occasional traveling to meet with internal stakeholders and teams. This is a US Hybrid/Remote based role, with the option to work from any of Newfront’s offices. #LI-Remote 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

    • Translate complex data analysis and trends into easy-to-understand, engaging, and dynamic content. 
    • Conduct and analyze market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities to inform and enhance our marketing approach and content creation.
    • Develop and steer proprietary reports, including survey design/administration and data analysis.
    • Assist in building our productization and go-to-market strategy.
    • Continually evaluate and prioritize promising third party technologies that Newfront can adopt to facilitate superior training for our Sales team. (need to keep this part? to conduct product demos and/or tools to support the development of thought leadership content at greater quality and scale.
    • Develop sales collateral and training in support of our Sales team to better tell the Newfront story and highlight our key differentiators to prospective clients.
    • In partnership with the Newfront Marketing Events team, develop processes and utilize technology to enable the Events team to easily produce high quality events targeting increasing prospecting.
    • Develop and administer a Marketing ROI framework and scorecard.
    • Other tasks, duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience at the intersection of data, marketing, and operations (business analytics, operational analytics, financial analytics).
    • Data visualization experience + data storytelling within Tableau, Looker, or a comparable analytics toolkit.
    • Proficiency in organization and adeptness in managing multiple projects concurrently. 
    • Demonstrated quantitative research experience with a focus on survey design, data collection, and synthesis of data and research. Familiarity with data modeling and analysis, including tools like SQL, R, or Python, a plus
    • Background in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Management Consulting, Marketing, or other related quantitative fields.
    • Exceptional communication skills:  written, public speaking and presentation preparation.
    • Ability to learn and adopt use of new technology systems and software applications.
    • Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, solve problems, offer solutions, and make process improvements.
    • Works well with others in a fast-paced environment and is responsive to colleagues.  Ability to train, delegate, provide oversight and give feedback.
    • Ability to multitask, understand urgency and deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Skilled in project planning, with a focus on effective time management.
The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at commencement of employment is expected to be between $95,200 and $119,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
