The role

We are looking for an experienced data analyst to join our growing Analytics team. This position will work closely with all facets of Presence data to help drive insight and understanding into many areas of the business. This individual will act as a key contributor in building out our new best-in-class business intelligence tool. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders and leadership to deliver highly visible content and analysis. 

The Analyst/Sr. Analyst role will report to the Director of Analytics.

What will you do at Presence?

In this role, you will:

• Rely on your intellectual curiosity to answer complex business questions by working with stakeholders and delivering thoughtful data analysis 
• Write SQL to extract data from our data warehouse and define the business logic that powers our understanding of Presence business performance
• Work with leaders to pull data from multiple sources for high priority data analyses that informs business decision making
• Design and build business intelligence dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for all levels of leadership, management, and operational teams 
• Define and maintain metrics “source of truth” for cross-functional teams to use in assessing performance & quality 
• Partner with data engineering to build your knowledge of Presence data sources, and improve the quality of data
• Identify areas to automate the delivery of data to our end users

What are we looking for? 

• 3-5 years experience as a data analyst
• 2+ years experience writing SQL
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience building data visualizations with Business Intelligence software (Looker/Tableau/Power BI a plus)
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Experience with scripting language preferred (R/Python)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience communicating data concepts to non-technical audiences
• Excellent presentation skills

Where is this position located? 

• Presence is headquartered in New York City with our clients located throughout the U.S.
• This is a remote role and we support remote work from locations within the US 
• This position will report directly to the Director of Analytics
• All employees commit to be available on-camera for our Core Working Hours noon-5pm EST M-F.
