The Data Analyst is responsible for providing data analysis, delivering meaningful insights, and making strategic recommendations across multiple subscription product lines, including advertising. This role will join forces with cross-functional teams across the company and help define and track business KPIs.

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, a competent problem solver, and brings a strong analytical mindset. They must be highly motivated, passionate, organized, and can operate effectively in independent and collaborative teams. Must have a deep understanding of SaaS-based subscription services and a willingness to work towards creative solutions to complex problems in a timely manner. You Will: 

• Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources to conduct a deep analysis 
• Benchmark and track progress against key operational performance goals and initiatives
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data insights to internal stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and cross-functional teams
• Integrate business intelligence tools into Rockbot’s data stack that includes systems such as  Salesforce CRM, Netsuite, Google BigQuery etc.
• Conduct data mining, regression and quantitative analysis while maintaining data documentation for both  internal and external consumption
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations
• Lead the business review process including executive level presentations that include key opportunities and recommendations
• Play a key role in understanding the data architecture that meets our business requirements by partnering with data engineering

You Have: 

• Bachelor's degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
• 4 - 5 years experience in data analytics and reporting 
• Expertise in pulling large and complex data using SQL, database management, writing data pipelines and knowledge of data modeling
• Knowledge of Excel & Google sheet and hands-on experience in SQL
• Working proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Domo etc.
• A deep understanding of data science programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines
• Strong communication, presentation & documentation skills
• Knowledge of data repositories such as data stores, warehouses, and lakes

Compensation  

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $110K to $150K, plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
