The Role:

This role would be part of the Data Company at Sunbit, reporting into the Head of Data. In this position, you will work closely with the Head of Data to establish the data oversight capability, driving data quality throughout Sunbit. You will work with partners across business and technology to drive improvement in data capture and quality.

You will own the furnishing of data for audit needs, ensuring a high quality delivery. You will have a passion for profiling data and identifying/resolving data issues.

Requirements

What You'll Own:

  • Partner with legal, compliance, finance & accounting and support their audit requests
  • Deliver high quality data deliverables that meet the audit requirements
  • Work with product management to systematize audit needs, to reduce redundant manual effort and ensure quality
  • Own quality of Critical Data Elements(CDE)
  • Ensure critical data elements are instantiated and consistent in data, working with product management
  • Own governance reporting on quality of CDE’s
  • Work across technology to identify and address CDE quality issues
  • Own and manage BI reports and dashboards and become a focal point for data issues


What You Bring To The Table: 

  • 4+ years of Analyst experience
  • Passionate about data, and driving the quality of data
  • Proficient in SQL and is excited about acquiring new technical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Takes proactive ownership
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Simga, Python, R or SAS is a plus
  • Experience in Credit Card, Loans or other financial services is a plus
