A single source of truth for financial data, used on one side by entrepreneurs to run their business (invoicing and getting paid, paying suppliers and expense management, piloting cash and profitability) and on the other side by their accountant for bookkeeping and tax declarations.

Saving time to all entrepreneurs and accountants, helping them to make the right decisions and enabling 3rd parties to offer added-value personalized financial services.

We’re product-led, growing fast, backed by strong investors and are starting to hire software engineers and data practitioners anywhere in Europe, to join our experienced remote-first tech team.

🎯 Your mission

In short: support all Pennylane teams by leveraging your analytical expertise, in order to improve accountants & business owners experience on our platform.

In more details:
- Promote a data driven culture, and provide technical support to data users across Pennylane
- Work hand in hand with business teams to fulfill more complex needs by analyses, KPIs and dashboards
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve the quality and intelligibility of our data models

🏠 Offices

The company is based in Paris, and most of the Tech & Data team works remotely. So you are free to work from wherever you want in Europe.

🥇 You’re the right candidate if…

    • You want to have a real impact on our product and business, and proactively help all our teams
    • You are comfortable with written and oral communication, and know how to use data to convince less technical audiences
    • You have experience (> 2 years) with manipulating, analysing and visualising data
    • You have hands-on experience leveraging your statistical knowledge to draw actionable insights from data
    • You want to contribute to defining our data models, and formulating validation rules to guarantee the reliability of our data
    • You are a structured query language expert (SQL)

    • … with bonus points if:
    • Python and DBT have no secrets for you
    • You have experience working in a Tech startup
