About the Role
 
Our interns contribute code from day one. We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Analytics Team at Evernote and help in our mission to boost productivity at work and in our users' personal lives. As an intern, you will play a significant role in shaping the future of the company by providing actionable data insights. You will work on analytics projects that drive and inform business and product decisions.
 

About the role

We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Analytics Team at Evernote and help in our mission to boost productivity at work and in our users' personal lives. At Evernote, the Analytics Team play a significant role in shaping the future of the company by providing actionable data insights. As an intern, you will work on analytics projects that drive and inform business and product decisions.

 

What you'll do

  • Perform data analysis to support decision making for Evernote products that house millions of notes and other types of content.
  • Extract, manipulate and transform software product usage data to draw actionable insights.
  • Develop business reports and dashboards to monitor Key Performance Indicators.
  • Work with marketing and product teams to measure optimization experiments to increase user and revenue growth.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests from internal client teams
 

What you've done

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Finance, or other quantitative field in progress
  • You are experienced in SQL
  • You are familiar with Python or R, including academic experience or internships
  • You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and can communicate your ideas effectively
  • Prior exposure to machine learning techniques (regressors, classifiers, etc) is a plus
