Cherre is looking for a Data Architect to help our teams build industry-leading real estate analytics and investment tools. You will be collaborating with product managers and data engineers on logical and physical data models. You’ll bring a strong understanding of the pros and cons of various data modeling approaches, including the performance impact of design decisions. The ideal candidate has experience in building data platforms in the cloud, and you have good knowledge and understanding of data warehouse design patterns.

You will

    • Collaborate with Product Management to design data models that support the product roadmap and visionServe as the technical expert for data warehousing principles and data model design patterns across the organization
    • Work closely with development teams on solution design and implementation with a focus on security, controls, data integrity and performance
    • Communicate architectural and design patterns through documentation and presentations to educate development teams, business users, and senior leadership
    • Deliver via the Agile methodology and embrace the DevOps culture across the software delivery lifecycle

You have

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field or equivalent experience
    • 7+ years of development and/or DBA experience in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
    • 3+ years of Data engineering experience in cloud computing, preferably in GCP cloud technologies
    • Experience in implementation and performance tuning MPP databases (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata)
    • Experience designing database environments, analyzing production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance
    • Extensive hands-on experience in data warehousing design, tuning and ETL/ELT process development

Nice to have

    • Experience or certifications on Google Cloud Platform
    • Familiarity with the Commercial Real Estate ecosystem and platforms is a major advantage
