GetinData is a Big Data solution provider who helps organizations with processing and analyzing a large amount of data. Company was founded in 2014 and collected a group of experienced and passionate Big Data experts with proven track of records. Currently our team consists of more than 100 Big Data experts and we still grow!

We mainly work with customers from Sweden, Switzerland and Poland. So far, we have helped 30+ of companies ranging from fast growing start-ups to large corporations in banking, pharmacy, telco, FMCG and media sectors. Besides projects we deliver practical Big Data Trainings.

We also have a big input in the Big Data community in Poland by co-organizing the largest technical Big Data conference in Warsaw and meetups of Warsaw Data Tech Talks.

Currently, we are looking for a Data Engineer to our project.

We are working on the project for a global financial institution with a strong European base, offering services to customers in over 40 countries, widely recognized as being one of the most innovative.
Project

The initial goal of the project was to build an ingestion solution with the use of open-source and closed-source technologies (NiFi, Spark and HDP/CDP). The solution must be highly scalable, fault tolerant and extremely efficient. Further improvements related to event-based ingestion, making the data lake available to consumers and migration to Cloudera stack are envisaged in the nearest future. 

Responsibilities

• Analysis of current code.

• Development of high quality code applying engineering best practices (tests, reviews, CI/CD).

• Organizing and leading technology decision process, preparing detailed designs and implementation proposals.
